Lubbock Power & Light Completes Repairs at Substation

Lubbock Power & Light this morning completed repairs to the Wadsworth Substation at 7:30a.  The failure of a lightning arrestor unit at that substation last Saturday morning caused a blackout of three-quarters of LP&L customers.

Today's work started at 5:30a and was completed with no outages or surges. Also, no city services were interrupted during the repairs.
