Lubbock Police are seeking the suspect vehicle in a non-fatal hit-and-run that occurred early Monday morning.

According to the Lubbock Police Department, David Smothermon, 51, was struck in the 600 block of Ave Q. before 1:15 a.m. Police were notified of the incident by a 911 call at that time.

The driver of a tan, four-door passenger car, believed to have struck Smothermon, did not stop to render aid, said police

Smothermon was transported to University Medical Center by EMS with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
