Lubbock Police are continuing their search for a burglary suspect from this past weekend.

The burglary took place during the overnight hours of either this past Saturday or early Sunday in the alley of the 6100 block of 91st Street.

The suspect is shown in home surveillance video breaking into a parked pickup truck and stealing a handgun. The handgun was later identified as a Kimber .45 caliber semi-automatic.

Lubbock Police states the suspect seen in the video appears to be male and is wearing jeans and a light colored, possibly gray, hooded sweatshirt or jacket. The suspect also appears to have a light color, possibly white, handkerchief or bandana covering the lower part of his face.

The suspect(s) getaway vehicle was a white, 4-door, newer model Chevrolet or GMC pickup truck with an in-bed toolbox across the front part of the bed. The truck has black door handles, and the toolbox possibly has a silver top. Also, since a handgun was stolen in the burglary the suspect(s) should be considered armed and dangerous.

If you have any information about this burglary you're urged to call the Lubbock Crimeline at 741-1000.
