Lubbock Police Searching for Fraud Suspect

Lubbock Police are searching for the woman pictured in a two-month old fraud incident that took place at a Lubbock department store.

On January 12, 2012, the woman allegedly used a counterfeit $100 traveler's check to make a purchase at Mardel, at the South Loop and Quaker.

The suspect purchased an item worth $14.06 and received $85.94 of change off of the counterfeit traveler's check.

Lubbock Police urge the public to call in any tips to the Crime Line at 741-1000.
