Lubbock Police Search For Walmart Theft, Assault Suspect

Lubbock Police are searching for the man suspected of assaulting a security guard while stealing a television.

The suspect was reportedly walking out of the Walmart near Quaker Avenue and South Loop 289 at around 5:30 a.m. April 4^th, 2014.

The guard that attempted to stop the suspect was assaulted, receiving minor injuries.

The suspect fled the scene in a black 90’s model Chevrolet or GMC Sport Utility Vehicle.
