Lubbock Police Search For Suspected Car Thief

Lubbock police are searching for a suspect in a robbery that occurred earlier this month.

On July 8th, the car of an elderly, disabled man was stolen at knife point at Iglesia Baptista Provincia, located in the 1300 block of 49th street around 6:30 a.m. by two suspects.

Lubbock police are still searching for one suspect, described as a Hispanic male, approximately 28 to 35 years old with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Line at 741-1000. You can also text tips to Lubbock Police by sending information to 274637, with the keyword LBKTIPS at the beginning of the message, followed by a space.
