Lubbock Police Search For Robbery & Hit-and-Run Suspect

Lubbock Police are searching for a man suspected of stealing a Texas Tech student’s cell phone, then hitting the victim with his car and dragging him for a short distance.

The incident happened at Main and Avenue X on July 17th, 2013 just after 2 p.m.

The student was hit by the suspect’s vehicle after the robbery and drug for a short distance. No further information was provided about the dragging incident.

The suspect is described as a white male between 50 to 59 years old, with a buzz haircut and balding on top.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a tan or gold 2005-2010 Dodge Durango.
