Lubbock Police Search For Carjackers in Sunday Night Robbery at Stripes

Lubbock Police are searching for information about an aggravated robbery that occurred late Sunday night.

At 11:58 p.m. Sunday, an unknown black male approached the driver of a vehicle that pulled into the Stripes location at 65^th Street and University Avenue.

The suspect, believed to be in his late teens, pulled a handgun from under his jacket and ordered the motorist out of the vehicle.

Three additional suspects walked over from beside the building and entered the vehicle, and the group drove off.

The victim’s vehicle was found abandoned at 1328 E. 25^th Street about 15 minutes later.
