Lubbock Police Say Same Person May Have Robbed Two Banks

Lubbock police believe that the same person could have perpetrated two bank robberies in Lubbock within the past few months.
The first robbery took place at First United Bank on September 14th, 2012 when the white male suspect entered the bank wearing a black cap, gray long sleeve shirt, and blue jeans.
The second robbery took place at the PlainsCapital Bank inside the South Plains Mall just before 5 p.m. on December 8th, 2012. The suspect managed to escape through the mall exit near Barnes and Noble.
The suspect in the PlainsCapital Robbery is described as a white male in his thirties with blond hair, around 5’9” to 5’11” and weighing between 180 to 200 pounds.
