Lubbock Police Locate Amber Alert Subject Elijah Reczek, Three in Custody

Lubbock police found a child that was the subject of an Amber Alert.

Police found six-year-old Elijah Reczek after a chase Monday afternoon, after he was reportedly abducted from Roswell, New Mexico.

Officers found a blue van with Montana license plates matching the description of the vehicle linked to the Amber Alert.

LPD officers converged on the vehicle as it was trying to leave from behind the Hampton Inn, located at 4003 South Loop 289.

Officers found Reczek completely unharmed, and arrested three people believed to be associated in the case, including Reczek’s mother, 30-year-old Miranda Ann Aguilar.

The FBI has reportedly not yet decided whether charges against the suspects will be federal or state.
