Lubbock Police have released the identity of the man arrested after a 2-hour hostage standoff earlier today in southwest Lubbock.  61 year-old Tommy Ray Beadles peacefully walked out of the City Bank at 82nd & Quaker Avenue after being coaxed out by police.

Beadles has been charged with one count of Aggravated Kidnapping, a first degree felony.  Lubbock Police are continuing their investigation into today’s crime and further charges may be forthcoming.

As of 10p tonight, no bond has been set for Beadles. He is currently being held at the Lubbock County Jail.
