Lubbock Police have arrested two people in connection with a murder over the weekend.

Police responded to shots fired at the Skool House night club at 1702 East 4th Street just after 4 a.m. Sunday.

Christopher Ayers was found lying on the ground, and multiple suspects fled on foot in different directions after the shooting.

Ayers was taken to University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Two 19-year-olds have been arrested in connection with the shooting. Jaquan Ward and Shaquille Cofer have been charged with murder, and are being held on $500,000 bond each.
