Lubbock Police have arrested a suspect in a convenience store robbery earlier this week.

The Rip Griffin convenience store at 34th Street and Quaker Avenue was robbed just before 9 p.m. Monday, January 20th.

The suspect reportedly walked into the store and indicated that he had a firearm in his pocket, but fled when he saw the clerk press the silent alarm button.

Lubbock Police say that they arrested 24-year-old David Paul Reazola before noon Wednesday for a parole violation, and charges will be filed against Reazola for the robbery soon.

LPD thanks the citizens of Lubbock for their assistance and encourage the continued use of Crime Line.
