Lubbock Police Arrest Man for Aggravated Robbery

A Lubbock man was arrested Wednesday night (Jan. 24) for Aggravated Robbery.

KAMC News reports, 22 year-old Miguel Garcia went into the Dollar General Store located at 2015 50^th street, and attempted to steal alcohol and other miscellaneous goods. An employee attempted to confront Garcia, but Garcia allegedly showed the employee a gun and said don’t follow me.

Shortly after, Lubbock police found Garcia in the 4800 block of Avenue Q. The gun wasn’t found, but the stolen alcohol and goods were.

Garcia was arrested and booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center.

As of Thursday afternoon, his bond was not set.
