One person has been arrested following the robbery of a north Lubbock convenience store.

A man walked into the Stripes store at 2025 Clovis Road just after 11:15 p.m. on Friday, January 3rd.

According to Lubbock Police, the man displayed a black handgun and demanded money from the store clerk.

The clerk managed to give police a vehicle description and responding officers located the vehicle in the area of 200 North Guava.

Officers chased the man to 3505 East Baylor where the suspect attempted to flee on foot, but was quickly taken into custody.

Twenty-five year-old Billy G. Miller III has been charged with aggravated robbery and evading arrest. He is being held in the Lubbock County Jail on more than $100,000 bond.
