Thursday, Lubbock Parks and Recreation will host the 10th Annual Pumpkin Trail from October 18th to Sunday, October 21st.

The trail is at the Lubbock Memorial Arboretum at Clapp Park, located at 4212 University Avenue. Carved jack-o-lanterns will line the trail along with 45 displays hosted by local businesses and civic groups. The trail is both stroller and wheelchair friendly.

The event is free and open to the public with limited parking available behind the nearby Hodges Community Center and the Garden and Arts Center.

Pumpkin lighting begins at 5:30 p.m. each night. The pumpkin trail will be open during these times:

Evening Hours

  • Thursday and Sunday: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Friday and Saturday: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Daylight Hours

  • 9 p.m. to 5 p.m.
