Lubbock police arrested a suspect today right after he robbed a downtown Wells Fargo Bank in Lubbock. KAMC 28 reports 40 year old Allan Azaryan was arrested outside of the bank at around 3:00 Thursday. He entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money.

She handed him a bank bag filled with money, and he left. As he was walking out of the building, the teller notified an officer in the bank that they had just been robbed. The officer pursued Azaryan and arrested him at gunpoint. Officials did not release the amount of money Azaryan took.
