Lubbock’s Breedlove Foods is accepting monetary donations to assist in shipping food to Nepal, which was struck by a 7.9 magnitude earthquake on Saturday, April 25.

Breedlove has announced intentions to deliver one shipping container of dehydrated soup to the ravaged country as soon as possible, with others to follow if possible. The container is capable of holding 1,560 cases of food.

The group is still creating their plan of action, but said they plan on collaborating with Evangelistic International Ministries to distribute the relief food.

There are multiple ways to donate: donations can be hand delivered or mailed to their offices at 1818 N. Martin Luther King Blvd.; by calling 806-741-0404; or online at www.breedlove.org.
