Lubbock Names Ribble Park as Park of the Month in Park Fit Challenge

The City of Lubbock has introduced the Park Fit challenge for October.

October’s park of the month is Ribble Park, located at 62^nd Street and Temple Avenue. It includes benches, fishing, picnic area, reserved picnic pavilion, playground, volleyball court, and a .63 mile walking track.

The City’s Parks and Recreation Department also lists the exercise of the month as pushups.

Anyone that takes their picture with the Park Fit sign located at Ribble Park and emails it to the Park Fit coordinator will be entered in their monthly prize drawing.
