Lubbock Mayor Tom Martin Talks City Council and Health Department on Lubbock’s First News [AUDIO]

On Friday’s edition of Lubbock’s First News, Lubbock Mayor Tom Martin joined Chad and Rex live from Reese Golf Center to discuss yesterday’s city council meeting.

Mayor Martin said that yesterday’s meeting was the longest the council has had this year, with around 40 Lubbock citizens participating in the discussion. The mayor shared his views on feeding the homeless, the health department, and city manager Lee Ann Dumbauld. He also announced that a new fertilizer plant would be coming to Lubbock, and that it would create new jobs for Lubbock and other small towns.
Mayor Martin also took the calls of several KFYO listeners, talking about feeding the homeless and Lee Ann Dumbauld.
