Robertson explained that, as the mayor, he does not have the power to dictate what adults can put in their bodies. Instead, he said the reason for looking into this matter is to protect the children who are acquiring the drug. Robertson also clarified that he was not looking to ban marijuana outright, but was looking to levy some punishment against the smoke shops who would sell these products to minors.
Mayor Glen Robertson will also appear on the Friday edition of Lubbock’s First News form 7 AM to 8 AM.
