A Lubbock man has admitted to possessing child pornography.  25 year-old Cyrus Patrick Yazdani pleaded guilty today before Judge Sam Cummings to one count of possessing child porn.

Yazdani, who will be sentenced at a later date, faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and a lifetime of supervised release.  He admitted that in June of this year he possessed a thumb drive which contained pornographic images of children.

The case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood by the Department of Justice and it was investigated by the Department of Homeland Security and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force of the Lubbock Police Department.
