A Lubbock man was injured in a drive-by shooting that occurred Sunday morning.

The shooting happened in the 600 block of East 19th Street. A Lubbock Police Officer was flagged down by a man who had a wound to his right calf.

The man was walking along 19th when a vehicle drove up behind him and fired two shots. One of the shots hit the victim in the leg, then the vehicle drove off.

EMS took the man to University Medical Center where he was treated and released.

No arrests have been made at this time.
