Lubbock Man Arrested on DWI Charge After Driving Into House

A Lubbock man has been charged with DWI after being involved in two car accidents Wednesday (August 12).

Twenty-one-year-old Andres Corona was arrested after he drove a vehicle into a parked car in the 2500 block of 110^th Street and then drove the same vehicle into a house in the 10900 block of Canton Avenue.

KAMC News reports that a woman was in the front of the house at the time of the accident. She suffered minor injuries and was taken to UMC for treatment.

Corona is currently in custody at the Lubbock County Jail, and so far a bond amount has not been set.
