Thursday on The Chad Hasty Show, Jason Gloe from the Lubbock Lions Club joined Chad in the KFYO studio to talk about the organization's fantastic annual event taking place this Saturday (February 18, 2017) at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Gloe provided information about the history of the event, and shared details about this year's fundraiser, which has the entire Civic Center reserved, so parking and food lines will not be a problem.

"We're flippin' to make a difference ok, and it is a big 'flippin' deal", said Gloe.

Gloe continued with logistics numbers to provide an idea of the magnitude of the annual event, saying,

We're looking to serve anywhere from 17,000 to 18,000 people, and probably between 50 and 60 thousand pancakes.

Tickets are $6 in advance, and $7 at the door. Advance tickets are available at numerous merchants in Lubbock, as well as on the Lubbock Lions Club's website.
