Lubbock ISD District Spelling Bee This Weekend
This Saturday students from 37 Lubbock ISD elementary and middle schools will compete in the district spelling bee. The students in this weekend’s competition have already won their respective campus bees. The event will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday in the Irons Middle School auditorium. The winner of the LISD spelling bee will advance onto the Avalanche-Journal Regional Spelling Bee in March. The event is open to the public.
