Lubbock ISD Accepting Letters of Interest

The Lubbock Independent School District Board of Trustees is still seeking to fill the Trustee District 3 vacancy left by Chris Comer at his resignation in December. Letters of interest can be sent in through January 6, 2012 to president of the board, James Arnold at P.O. Box 6100, Lubbock, TX 79493. Applicants should include a thorough resume with their letter of interest. Letters must be postmarked no later than January 6th.

The board will choose from the applicants to fill the vacant position until a special election in May. The candidate chosen by voters in that election will serve a term that ends in 2014.
