While I'm not the biggest shopper in the world, I do love having more options than we currently do. The new West End Shopping Center is promising some big new names to the Lubbock shopping experience.

Currently on the list of stores already set to open are: Nike Factory, Banana Republic Factory, Gap Factory, Sketchers Factory, Dress Barn, Charming Charlie, DXL Mens Apparel, Torrid and an Aspen Creek restaurant. (I don't even know what some of those are!)

I am always ready for new restaurants though, and Nike makes some darn comfy shoes.

There are also plans for a couple of hotels, one of which will be 10 stories with a convention center included.

Already open at the location are a Cabela's, Marshall's and Homegoods, along with the Costco on the corner which is one of my favorite stores in town. Looks like I'll be making rounds on the loop as soon as some of these joints open.

Time to start working overtime, I guess.
