A Lubbock High School swimmer has been named to more All-American lists.

Madisyn Cox, a 2013 graduate of Lubbock High, has been named to four All-American lists by the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association.

Cox received All-American honors in the 200 Freestyle, 200 IM, 100 Freestyle, and 100 Breaststroke.

Overall, Cox received 10 All-American honors over the last four years.

“This is such a great honor for Madisyn,” said Lubbock ISD Head Swimming Coach David “Trey” Hayes. “She has worked hard the last four years and getting four All-American honors in one year is amazing.”

The NISCA All-American distinction is reserved for swimmers who turn in one of the 100 fastest times in the United States, per event.
