Lubbock High School Choir to Perform in London, England

A Lubbock ISD high school choir will perform across the pond.

The Lubbock High School Chorale will perform at St. Paul’s Cathedral, London, England on March 12^th. The LHS Choir submitted a complete program and audition CD to a committee at St. Paul’s, and qualified to perform.

The group, under the direction of Robin Dent, will perform a thirty-minute concert of a cappella choral music at St. Paul’s on Monday, March 12^th. The LHS Choir will also perform a concert at Canterbury Cathedral, and is listed on the cathedral’s Noonday Concert Series.

During their time in England, the choir will visit Stonehenge, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, Windsor and Warwick Castles, and Coventry Cathedral.

The students will leave for England on Friday, March 9^th and will return Thursday, March 15^th.
