Lubbock Gas Prices Are Lower For Fifth Straight Week

According to a KFYO survey, the average price for regular self-serve gas in Lubbock this week is $3.54 a gallon, down 4 cents from last week.  Overall, prices for regular self-serve gas in Lubbock in the current survey range from $3.45 to $3.62 a gallon,

According to a AAA Texas survey, the average price in Texas is $3.62 a gallon, down 8 cents from last week.

The cheapest gas among the 11 Texas cities surveyed by AAA is in Beaumont-Port Arthur,  $3.53 a gallon.  The most expensive is in El Paso, 3.67 a gallon.

Nationally, the average price is $3.79 a gallon, down 2 cents from last week.
