Lubbock Firefighters Continuing Rescue Training at Water Tower
The Lubbock Fire Department will continue rescue training exercises at the water tower at 50th Street and Indiana Avenue tomorrow, starting at 8:30a.
During the training by the Heavy Rescue Team, firefighters will be using high-angle rope rescue techniques to remove simulated victims from position on the ladder access and/or walkways.
The Lubbock Fire Department warns drivers that the training may be distracting. They also remind drivers that their first priority should always be the safe operation of their vehicle.
