An arrest has been made in connection with an arson investigation into a townhome fire.

Late on the night of Friday, August 22, Lubbock Fire Marshals Arrested 34-year-old Donovan Osby for first degree felony arson and for making false statements to a police officer. Osby suffered significant burns during the Tuesday, August 19, fire that occurred at a townhome in the 5000 block of 27th street and has now been charged with setting that fire.

Osby is allegedly the former roommate of the owner and was taken from the scene of the fire for treatment at a local hospital.
