Lubbock Fire Department to Hold Pinning Ceremony For 2012 Recruit Class
A new batch of firefighters will be honored this week.
The Recruit Class 2012-02 of the Lubbock Fire Department will have their pinning ceremony and reception on Friday, November 2nd.
The event will take place at 2 p.m. at the Lubbock Fire Department Training Academy at 1515 East Ursuline.
Members of the recruit class are:
- Richard Christopher
- Robert Cope
- Daylon Glover
- Cole Hurley
- Brandon Ince
- Lyle Jones
- Jason Lester
- John Newton
- Chris Smith
- Kurt Warren
The pinning ceremony comes after an orientation period, a written exam and a physical test, as well as the basic certifications required for the job.
