[Update] Lubbock Family’s Missing Daughter Returns Home

A Lubbock family is asking for the community's help in finding their missing daughter.

According to her family, 17-year-old Michelle Venable (pictured, right) went missing from school around Noon on Monday, April 20.

Venable's mother, Christi Porter, tells KFYO News that her family has filed missing persons reports with Lubbock ISD Police and Lubbock Police Department. However, the situation is currently being classified as a runaway. Porter stated her daughter is a student at Coronado High School.

Porter describes her daughter to KFYO News as 5'6" tall with bleached blonde hair, green eyes and braces.

The family asks for information concerning Venable to be called into police.
