Lubbock Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning at the E-Z Mart on 76th Street and Quaker Avenue.

Police report a black male standing around 5’9" and wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with black pants held the clerk at gun point before robbing the store and fleeing eastbound.

There are no reports of how much cash was stolen from the convenience store at this time. The clerk was not injured in the heist.

This is now the eighth convenience store robbery in Lubbock in recent weeks.
