The Lubbock Economic Development Alliance has been recognized for their performance.

The Texas Economic Development Council recognized LEDA for their achievement in economic excellence for 2012 at the TEDC’s 2013 Mid-Year Conference in Frisco.

According to a LEDA press release, the annual program recognizes economic development organizations qualified for the recognition based on training taken by its governing board and council, as well as the Economic Development Director and professional staff.

“It’s a great honor to be recognized for Economic Excellence from the Texas Economic Development Council,” said LEDA President and CEO John Osborne. “We continue to heighten our economic development efforts to bring a positive impact to the community.”

The TEDC is a statewide non-profit professional association which provides information, education, and legislative services to its members.
