Most of the time on these blogs I will write about something going on in the news either in the City of Lubbock, State of Texas, or even on a national level.

Other times, I will rant about something that you may or may not care about. Honestly, this blog is a lot like my radio shows in that aspect.

This morning, my fiancée called me and told me that she had been in an accident. Thankfully, she is alright thanks to her nice big truck. Back to the accident...

Apparently the driver who hit her thought a blinking red light meant... well who knows, but she didn't stop. She claimed she did stop and just rolled through the intersection, but that wasn't real believable since she knocked off the passenger door of a truck. Just sayin'.

Since I've been on the air in Lubbock, one of the top call-in topics has always been bad drivers. Maybe it's like that everywhere, but it just seems worse here. The top complaints in Lubbock:

Merging, running Red Lights, protected turn lanes, stopping and then turning... into the turn lane, and I'm sure I could go on and on.

The point of all of this is...

Pay attention and know the rules of the road!

What do you think? How bad are Lubbock drivers?
