Lubbock County GOP Chairman Talks About Herman Cain’s Appeal on KFYO
“He’s certainly a breath of fresh air.”
That’s Chris Winn, the chairman of the Lubbock County Republican Party, responding to a question about Herman Cain on Lubbock’s First News on KFYO. Cain has never held office but he leads in some polls.
“People just are having a repulsion to politicians and establishment insiders. They’re looking for an honest statement. What do you want to do?” Winn said.
In a Rasmussen poll, Cain leads President Obama by two points. Winn did not endorse any of the Republican candidates during the interview.
