Lubbock Code Enforcement to Search West End Neighborhood for Violations

City of Lubbock Code Enforcement officers will be checking a neighborhood for violations this week.

The Code Administration section of the Lubbock Police Department will be looking in the West End neighborhood on Thursday, May 3^rd from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

The neighborhood boundaries are West Loop 289 on the east and Milwaukee Avenue on the west, and 19^th Street on the north and 34^th Street on the south.

Code enforcement officers will be searching for violations such as junked vehicles, nuisance weeds and rubbish, substandard housing, and zoning.

A field office will be set up in the parking lot of City View Christian Fellowship, located at 4501 Milwaukee Avenue, and a roll off dumpster will be available for citizens to dispose of bulky items.
