Lubbock Club Offers Reward for Information on Arsonists

A fire that occurred at the La Kumbia Club Sunday morning is a case of arson, according to the Lubbock Fire Marshall’s Office. The fire was set just after 4:45am Sunday, at 5001 Avenue Q.  The club suffered minor damage and several incendiary devices were recovered by investigators.  La Kumbia is offering a reward of $1000 for any information leading to the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for setting the fire.  Tips can be called into the Lubbock Crime Line at 741-1000.
