Lubbock Christian University to Host Send-Off for Lady Chaps Basketball Team

Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparral Basketball (34-0) will have the opportunity to make school, and collegiate, history next week as they will play for the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Championship.

Wednesday night, (March 30) at 9pm, a public send-off will be held for the team at the Rip Griffin Center. After the send-off the team will leave for Indianapolis where the NCAA Division II Championship is being held.

Next Monday, April 4, LCU will play against the University of Alaska Anchorage (38-2) for the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Championship at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Indiana. Tip-off is scheduled for 2pm and the game will be televised on the CBS Sports Network.
