A Lubbock university will hold a Christmas event next week.

Lubbock Christian University will present their first Big Blue Family Christmas on Monday, December 2nd.

All members of the Lubbock community are invited to attend the event on the LCU campus, which will begin at 5:30 p.m. Monday.

Children can get their pictures taken with Santa in the Betty Hancock Parlor, and attendees can drink hot chocolate and hot spiced cider in the mall area of the LCU campus. LCU musical group “Forte” will sing Christmas carols.

Kids can also participate in Christmas games in “Who-ville” and get their pictures taken with the Grinch. To conclude the evening, guests are invited to bring their blankets and chairs to watch the movie “The Grinch” in front of the SUB at 7:30 p.m.
