On the Thursday edition of Lubbock's First News, Brice Foster, Certified Financial Planner for the City Bank Texas and Chairman of the Total Resource Campaign, talked about the kick off of the 4th annual campaign.

He described the campaign as an opportunity to tell the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce's story in order to recruit new business members. There are currently about 2,000 members. This offers businesses sponsorships and other opportunities to be involved in the community and to attend events that would be beneficial to one's business. These include the Hub City BBQ, a golf tournament, a career expo, and Chamber University.

He said the Chamber's mission is "to serve, promote, and advocate for its member businesses... The Chamber is always at the local, at the county, the state, and even at the federal level... advocating pro business."
