Lubbock Chamber of Commerce to Host Community Prayer Breakfast in Honor of National Day of Prayer
The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce will host a prayer breakfast in early May.
The community prayer breakfast will be held in honor of the National Day of Prayer on May 2nd. This year’s National Day of Prayer theme is “Pray for America.”
The event will be held in the banquet hall of the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, with the food line opening at 7 a.m., and the program running from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.
The popular Christian band Sidewalk Prophets will perform during the breakfast event.
The National Day of Prayer was implemented by President Ronald Reagan, designated as the first Thursday of May each year.
