Lubbock Chamber of Commerce Invites All Businesses to Welcome Students Back to Lubbock

Area businesses are being encouraged to welcome back college students for the fall semester.

The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce invites all member businesses to display banners, flags, and signage to welcome college students back to Lubbock between August 20^th and September 10^th.

Businesses are reminded to follow certain guidelines, such as not placing signs or banners in the 25-foot vision triangle at any street intersection and setting back all signage at least 10 feet from the property line during the display period.

The Chamber of Commerce recommends that the welcome displays should show a minimal amount of business identification, since the objective is to welcome back students.
