The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce has announced honorees for a celebration next month.

The Chamber will hold its 100th Anniversary Awards Celebration on Thursday, December 5th at 11:30 a.m. at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

The event celebrates the Chamber’s 100th anniversary, and recognizes the group’s accomplishments over the past year and those that help make it possible.

This year’s honorees include:

Ambassador of the Year: David Putman – LegalShield

Volunteer of the Year: Cliff Hillin – X8 Environmental, Inc.

Business Person of the Year: Robert Taylor – United Supermarkets

Business of the Year: American National Bank

Business Person Hall of Fame: Chancellor Kent Hance – Texas Tech

Business Hall of Fame: McDougal Companies

An awards celebration ticket costs $50, and Chamber members get a discounted price of $35. A table of eight may be purchased for $400 for a silver level sponsorship or $550 for gold level. The deadline to purchase tickets is noon on Monday, December 2nd.
