Lubbock Chamber of Commerce Announces Honorees For 100th Anniversary Awards Celebration

The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce has announced honorees for a celebration next month.

The Chamber will hold its 100^th Anniversary Awards Celebration on Thursday, December 5^th at 11:30 a.m. at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

The event celebrates the Chamber’s 100^th anniversary, and recognizes the group’s accomplishments over the past year and those that help make it possible.

This year’s honorees include:

Ambassador of the Year: David Putman – LegalShield

Volunteer of the Year: Cliff Hillin – X8 Environmental, Inc.

Business Person of the Year: Robert Taylor – United Supermarkets

Business of the Year: American National Bank

Business Person Hall of Fame: Chancellor Kent Hance – Texas Tech

Business Hall of Fame: McDougal Companies

An awards celebration ticket costs $50, and Chamber members get a discounted price of $35. A table of eight may be purchased for $400 for a silver level sponsorship or $550 for gold level. The deadline to purchase tickets is noon on Monday, December 2^nd.
