Lubbock Authorities Seek Two in Overnight Shooting

An East Lubbock tobacco shop owner is shot and left seriously wounded during what may have been an attempted robbery.

Police say two men approached the owner of Tobacco Road at 2908 Parkway Drive around 11:15 last night as he was closing the store. One of the men shot him in the back. Officers found the victim outside on the ground. Police are looking for two men in orange shirts who fled on foot. The store owner, not immediately identified, was taken to UMC for treatment.
