Lubbock Authorities Investigate Sunday Homicide

Lubbock police are investigating the homicide of a man found dead in his mobile home Sunday morning.

50-year-old Kevin Lee Braddock was found dead in the Elm Grove Mobile Home Park, located at 2201 Research Boulevard by a neighbor.

Autopsy results are pending, but initial reports say that Braddock was fatally beaten. He was found by friend and neighbor Jim Flemming, who says that he went over to Braddock’s mobile home around 9 a.m. Sunday morning, and found the door of his mobile home open.

Braddock was dead inside, and his head was swollen to around the size of a basketball, according to Flemming.
