Nominations for an annual award given by the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce are underway.

This will be the fifth year of Lubbock’s 20 Under 40 Awards program, given by the Young Professionals of Greater Lubbock, a program of the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce.

The initiative aims to recognize outstanding people under the age of 40 who show exemplary leadership in their careers and the community.

Nomination forms are available here, and will be accepted until 5 p.m. Wednesday, February 22nd. The top 40 individuals will be chosen from the nominees by an independent panel of judges, and then narrowed down to 20.

“Lubbock has a diverse group of leaders working to better our community, and we look forward to excellent nominations from the community to recognize these young professionals at work,” said Lubbock Chamber of Commerce Chairman Tim Collins.

A special reception will be held for the honorees on May 31st of this year.
